Morning Reflection June 26 Field Trip
June 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Come walk the historic Prairie Line Trail in downtown Tacoma, Saturday, June 26, 10 a.m – Noon. Eight artworks will be highlighted with a poem and spiritual writing. We’ll meet for a brief introduction and then small groups will wander on self-directed walks, writings in hand, before meeting once again at the end. The Prairie Line Trail is a one-mile trail with artwork, gently sloped through the UWTacoma campus and alongside TAM. Mary Oliver, Wendell Berry, and Maya Angelou will be there!
Details: Face coverings are required on campus, vaccinated or not, at least until June 30. Gather at 10 a.m. at UWT, at the intersection of the steps up from Pacific Ave and the Prairie Line Trail that runs thru campus; this is just about equidistant between the University Bookstore and The Swiss. We’ll go rain or shine. Closest parking is on campus, in the paid Cragle or Tioga lots. Both lots have some stairs. There’s also street parking, free parking in the Tacoma Dome Garage, and the free Link Train will bring you from the Dome lot to UWT.
