Wednesdays March 1-29, 5:45 – 7 p.m.
This years’ theme for Lent is How Do We Sing God’s Song in a Strange Land?
We bury the “Alleluias” on Fat Tuesday to unearth them again on Easter morning, however nothing can keep us from singing.
What song enlivens, inspires, evokes memory, resonates with you – particularly in the liminal, introspective, unsettling season of Lent?
We hope you will be pondering on your song as this Lenten season we once again gather around tables in Fellowship Hall on the 5 Wednesdays in March for our Soup Suppers, from 5:45 – 7 p.m. First we will feast on shared soup and bread, then hear briefly from a member of our community, and close with communion.
Watch for sign ups to contribute soup and bread, or to help with set up and clean up. The dates are Wednesday March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. See you around the table!
