On two Wednesdays per month during the months of June – August you are invited to join Pastor Tad for a book discussion on Sharon Salzberg’s book, Real Change. The author is one of today’s leading Buddhist teachers on spiritual tools for activism and on meditation and mindfulness in general. Our discussions will focus on the book and we will put that in dialog with our own spiritual insights and understandings. We will focus on the connection between spirituality, practice, and activism. We will be reading 1-2 chapters before each time we meet. Attendance at all gatherings is not required, just come as you can, but I do suggest you get the book and be read up on the chapters for that week and probably prior for the sake of context and discussion. We will be meeting at 7 p.m. via Zoom for now.
