Winter Advent Spiral Service

This Advent season at Immanuel, we seek to continue to Extend the Table, as we wait together again for the unique ways in which God will be God with us during this season. Meaning the ways God enters our human world in the most present and intimate way. Isn’t that what hospitality is all about? Radical presence, creating space to be with each other in ways that matter?

Because our Extend the Table campaign will carry through into the middle of Advent this year, we are going to hold a special service of music, prayer, reflection, and meditation on Wednesday November 29, 6-7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. This year we will be gathering around what is called an Advent Spiral (think a labyrinth of sorts). We will sing, reflect, pray, meditate, and walk the spiral (if you choose) preparing our hearts and minds to generously open to what is being birthed among us.
